Recent improvements
See what's genuinely new across monitoring, time and payroll, proof, integrations, and settings, and exactly which screen to open for each one.
Monitoring & activity
Today now opens with a daily brief written in plain language next to the real numbers behind it, and a Summarise this for standup button that turns those same numbers into a short standup line, composed only from what's already on the page, nothing invented. The activity board's Needs attention panel gives managers a ranked list of anyone flagged today, backed by alert rules you can turn on and tune yourself: heavy idle time, low productivity, and off-hours activity. Anyone can also open a plain-language breakdown of their own productivity score (what Activity level, Focus, and App quality each contributed that day, with anything not captured shown as "not counted" rather than scored as zero) and raise a dispute if it looks wrong. Reclassifying an app as productive, neutral, or unproductive now sticks for good: once your organization makes that call, a later update to WorkMonitor's own defaults won't quietly overwrite it.
Time & payroll
Timesheets keep a visible correction trail. Editing an entry shows what it used to say struck through above the replacement, so a correction never just disappears. Running payroll checks for problems before it lets you finalize anything: unlocked time, overlapping entries, missing pay rates, or a member with no approved timesheet all show up as named blockers instead of a silent bad number. Payroll also now prices hourly and daily-rate changes correctly even when they land in the middle of a pay period (a raise partway through pays two lines, each at the rate in force on that day), while a salaried member's mid-period raise is refused rather than guessed, since splitting a salary fairly needs someone to say how. For time logged against external tools, Time reports shows budget, burn, and billable amounts for your Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or Asana work, broken down by member and by item, with a downloadable PDF per project.
Proof
Proof Ledger shows whether your organization's tamper-evident record of work is still intact, alongside a screenshot count that can only ever read zero (because this way of tracking work never takes one) and the total number of signed work edges captured instead. Outcomes links real shipped work from a connected GitHub (pull requests and issues) to the tracked time behind it, confidence-scored and always correctable; it's advisory only and never used alone for pay, scheduling, or discipline. Certificates can be issued from a finalized invoice, shared at a public link, selectively redacted, or revoked, and anyone holding the link can check one at a public page (no WorkMonitor account needed), see the checks behind the verdict, download a PDF, or verify an offline copy by pasting it in. Your organization's audit log can now be checked on demand: a Verify integrity button re-confirms the whole chain still matches rather than asking you to take it on faith.
Integrations
Connectors now cover Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom for digests and meeting attendance, alongside Jira, Trello, ClickUp, and Asana for pulling tasks in and writing tracked time back where the tool supports it. Employee management can sync your roster, org chart, and roles from an HR system or identity directory, matching people to existing members by email rather than creating new ones or billing extra seats. You can create your own scoped API keys, each with its own permissions, an optional expiry, and an IP allowlist, to pull time, project, and analytics data out over the public API. White-label & embeds let you put your own logo and color on the public certificate verifier and badge, serve them from your own domain once it's verified, and mint ready-to-paste embed widgets for a member's hours, a certificate, a timeline, or an approver page.
Settings
Roles and permissions now supports fully custom roles, so you can grant exactly the slice of the product one group of people should touch, instead of choosing between the three built-in roles. Single sign-on can connect an OpenID Connect identity provider, so people at your company's email domain sign in with the account they already have rather than a WorkMonitor password. And Privacy & data puts screenshot handling in your own hands: choose how long screenshots are kept, blur new captures by default, and purge anything already past the window whenever you want.
What this means for you
None of this needs any setup on your side to take effect where it's already visible. Open the relevant screen and it's there. A few items are owner-only by default (Roles and permissions, Single sign-on, Certificates, the audit log); if you can't see one of them, ask your workspace owner to grant the permission it needs.
