Does WorkMonitor record what I type?

No. WorkMonitor never records which keys you press or what you type. It only counts how many keystrokes and clicks happened, and how far your mouse moved.

What this means for you

Those counts are what tell your work time from your idle time; they carry no content, so there's nothing recorded even if you type a password or a private message. Open What We See to see this stated for your own account, alongside every other signal your organization currently captures and whatever it's already recorded about you.

Can I pause monitoring?Yes. Open **Profile** and, under **Private time**, choose **Pause 15 min**, **Pause 30 min**, or **Pause 60 min** to stop screenshot and activity capture on your devices for that long.
Can my employer see my screen right now?No one can watch your screen live. WorkMonitor never streams or mirrors your display. The most it can do is take periodic screenshots, and only if your organization has that turned on and you've consented to it.
Give or withdraw consent for a signalGrant or withdraw your consent for any signal that needs it, and withdrawing pauses that capture immediately.
Is WorkMonitor watching me outside working hours?No. WorkMonitor only captures activity while your tracked session is actually running. Selecting **Stop** ends the session and clocks you out; selecting **Pause** stops the clock without clocking out. Either way, nothing is captured until you start again.
Monitoring scope changesSee a complete, tamper-evident history of every time your organization widened what WorkMonitor watches, including which capability changed, who changed it, and when.
Raise a disputeChallenge an automated decision about your work (a score, an alert, a screenshot, or another decision), and a person is required to review it before it stands.
